Lease: 72 months, nothing to pay at the start or the end, about 8.4%. Our leasing partner's indicative terms (September 2026), not an offer.
The surprise: the Felicia costs about 70% more than the pod, yet earns two and a half times as much, because it can ask twice the rate over a longer season. It's not the price of the house that decides this, it's the rate you can ask and the nights you fill.
Who we already build for
More than 50 of our houses are out there earning, from a private island in Denmark to the Carnic Alps. Here are a few of the people running them. Several have come back for more.
- Unplugged (United Kingdom) Off-grid digital detox cabins across England and Wales.
- Friland (Italy) Tiny houses in the Carnic Alps and the Dolomites, rented as slow travel stays.
- Hiide (Portugal) Off-grid cabins within two hours of Lisbon, booked directly rather than through platforms.
- Vejrø (Denmark) A private island resort, using our houses for guests and for staff.
- Evjua Strandpark (Norway) A lakeside park on Mjøsa with camping, a marina and a restaurant.
- Tiny Away (Italy) An international tiny house network that places houses with landowners.

“Opening a hotel is a huge undertaking: lots of money, staff and uncertainty. But opening one cabin on a remote piece of land, that is very achievable.”

Questions
Questions about leasing and getting started
How does leasing work?
Most businesses lease our houses rather than buying them outright. It all comes down to one thing: the house has to stay movable and must not become part of the land. Ours do, on wheels or on a steel frame.
What does a lease look like?
Our leasing partner's indicative terms (September 2026): 72 months, nothing to pay at the start or at the end, about 8.4%. That's about 1 775 € a month for every 100 000 € of house, excluding VAT. More about financing →
What does the lessor ask you for?
Usually two years of accounts, the agreement or permit for the site, and the invoice and specification of the house.
What do you get from us for the application?
The specification and invoice, written confirmation that the house stays movable, the serial number, and our own second-hand sales to show that the house holds its value.
Where does leasing work today?
- Germany: One partner places our customers' leases today, and a second has told us our houses work for them. Both ask for the same thing: the house stays movable and isn't fixed to the ground.
- Sweden: Our partner here leases over 60 months, with nothing to pay at the start and 10% left at the end to own the house.
- Norway: Lessors here don't leave a residual to buy out, so the house is paid off over the term and the monthly cost is higher.
In other countries, ask us and we'll tell you who leases houses like ours there. We're not a lender and don't arrange the finance ourselves. Every lease goes through the lessor's own credit check. More about financing →
What does the calculator leave out?
Delivery and site preparation (they depend on the model and the distance), linen and crockery, the land, permits and the cost of borrowing. Prices are for the example specifications, so other options change them, and VAT is left out because EU businesses pay 0%. Ask us for a delivered price and we'll put real numbers on it.
